Garden
With lots of wonderful outdoor play equipment in our large secure garden areas children will always enjoy playing on the bikes, tree house and slide.
Acre Wood provides excellent facilities for growth and development, where children can explore the outdoors. The secret garden lets the children enjoy a variety of outdoor games and stories as well and grow their very own fruit and vegetables to eat and enjoy.
Outings & Visitors
Regular outings are organised to link in with your child’s particular interest. Visits may include a trip to the park, or a walk to the library. We are also pleased to welcome visitors to Acre Wood. Visits from local firemen and policemen are always popular. Parents may also wish to visit to share the excitement with their children.
Creativity Days
Acre Wood organise art & craft days each term when every child enjoys fantastic activities from painting to junk modelling, singing and dancing. Our creativity days introduce your child to a wide range of new hobbies helping to develop new talents and interests. Art & craft days are organised throughout the year as part of your child’s day at nursery.
Children’s Parties
We understand as busy parents it is not always easy to arrange birthday parties for young children so we can help celebrate your child’s special day whilst they are at nursery.
We can arrange special party teas, party games, face painting and lots of party music – every child is guaranteed to have a wonderful time!
